Robin’s Nest has a partnership with International Christian Aid Relief Enterprises Limited (ICARE) for guidance, general support, administration and fundraising purposes. RNCH and ICARE are essentially independent partners who have a common interest in making a positive difference in the lives of severely disadvantaged children.
Established in 1982, ICARE is a Christian, humanitarian, non-profit organisation with charitable status, which means that every donation to the work of Robin’s Nest is tax deductible.
ICARE is an autonomous organisation and is a member of the Australian Council for International Development (ACFID) and signatory to the ACFID Code of Conduct. It operates in Thailand, Kenya, Uganda, India and the Philippines and provides relief aid and assistance to needy people, particularly children, regardless of politics, race, gender or religion.
ICARE undertakes administration tasks for Robin’s Nest including:
• processing and receipting of sponsor/donor applications and monies
• maintenance of RNCH bank accounts
• transfer of funds to projects
• transfer of child-sponsor communications
• provision of letters and reports to sponsors
• regular liaison with RNCH.
Under the auspices of the Australian Government and Australian Code of Conduct, monitoring, reporting and visits to projects is undertaken by ICARE field officers as well as Robin’s Nest partners to ensure that projects are prospering and funds are being used for intended purposes.
