Pastor Thapa (from Shivpuri) who is serving the Lord in a nearby village, came to know about Shanu who is an orphan and was living with her brothers and Grandmother. Her Grandmother asked the Pastor if he could help Shanu have a better future. The Pastor told her Grandmother about RNCH. The Grandmother agreed to let her go to RNCH. They had been living in very poor conditions. When she came to the orphanage she was wearing torn clothes and only being fed one meal a day.
