Both parents died when she was 6 yrs old. She was raised by her grandmother with her brother. They lived for 12 months alone before moving in with their grandmother. There was a shortage of food and they had no school fees so no education. The house was made of grass so the wind blew it apart. Then men came and stole all their things. Their grandmother finally came to rescue them when she heard her son had died.
