Jotham Simiyu

Jotham is one of eleven in the family. After living in poor circumstances and hardships as he grew up, one day Jotham was walking home considering this and came across a Christian Crusade. The preacher quoted Matthew 11:28 where it says ‘Come to Me and I will give you rest, all of you who work hard beneath a heavy yoke’. It was at this meeting that Jotham gave his life to Jesus and has testified of the great things Jesus has done ever since. Jotham was living in the next town, Bungoma when his wife, Leah, went to the hospital in Bungoma for some treatment. While staying in Bungoma she attended the church service at Deliverance Church, Bungoma. Here there was an announcement for house parents. They believed it was the Holy Spirit who directed her to this service at this time. Since getting the job as house parents Jotham has been active in the church as Choir Member, Decoration Ministry, Intercessor and a Church Leader.
