Laura is a delightful little girl whose family was brought to our attention by Pst Arcadius who knows that this family is struggling to survive. The church family tries to support them as much as is possible. Laura’s dad was the income earner. Laura’s mum, Felistas, takes great pride in her home and small garden. Laura is kept clean. She had been sent home from school as fees were not paid. The ball & teddy we gave her are now the only toys she has. Felistas is doing the best she can. There was a promise of some sponsorship through another organisation however the person in Kenya responsible for passing on the money kept it for themselves. Felistas is keen to get a cow (about $200aud) in order to provide milk for the family and sell for some money.
