Sheryl’s family was brought to our attention by Pst Arcadius who knows that this family is struggling to survive. The church family try to support them as much as is possible. Sheryl’s Dad was the income earner. Sheryl’s mum, Felistas, takes great pride in her home and small garden. Felistas is keen for her children to get a good education. Felistas is doing the best she can to provide for the three girls on her own. There was a promise of some sponsorship through another organisation however, the person in Kenya responsible for passing on the money kept it for themselves. Felistas would like to get a cow (about $200aud) in order to provide milk for the family and sell for some money.
